I’ve been teaching myself the in’s and out’s of WordPress by building my own theme from scratch. This theme is the fruit of that labor and now it’s available for download. While teaching myself I’ve used a variety of resources. My main resource has been How to be a Rockstar WordPress Designer by Collis Ta’eed and Harley Alexander.
It has been the single most useful item I’ve used for creating this theme. Another valuable site I frequented is wphacks.com. Some other useful items were Wordpress Cheat Sheet by WPCandy, articles on WordPress by Noupe.com, and an article on WebDesignerWall.com.
